Dr. Hammett is a Canadian physician with more than 25 years of clinical experience and advanced training in anaesthesia and ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment.
His background in anaesthesia included extensive experience with ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks, providing a strong foundation in ultrasound anatomy, image-guided procedures, and needle guidance techniques.
Dr. Hammett has completed additional postgraduate training in musculoskeletal medicine and diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound through the Australian Institute of Ultrasound and Sports Medicine Ultrasound Canada. He is currently completing a Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Medicine.
Every patient receives a comprehensive assessment before treatment. In many cases, the diagnosis – not simply the injection – is the most valuable part of the consultation. His practice emphasises accurate diagnosis, patient education, diagnostic ultrasound, and precision ultrasound-guided procedures designed to help patients return to work, sport and everyday activities.
